Newborn Session

A few weeks ago I welcomed this proud family into the studio to celebrate the birth of their baby girl. Mama called me while she was pregnant to schedule her baby’s first session. We chatted about her hopes for the session and got a date onto the calendar.

My photography sessions aren’t just the chance for you to grab some nice photos of you all together. They are an experience of true connection. A celebration of who and where your family are. Sure you’ll have some beautiful images to adorn your walls, but you’ll also have the memory of a moment in time that truly mattered. The story of YOU & the people you care about most.

On session day I got to meet sweet baby Navreet. She loved being swaddled and the cozy temperature in my studio space. We created lots of images of baby safe in Mama + Dadas arms, as well as on our cozy beanbag while she slept.

I get asked a lot about the best time to book a newborn session. I recommend reaching out when you’re pregnant - the second or third trimester is a great time. I love being able to assist you with wardrobe planning, session info and design ideas so that we can take that planning off your plate when your baby arrives. It makes the entire process seamless and enjoyable for you as a new parent.
