Reach out to book your spot at the beginning of your second trimester (around 13-16 weeks!). This gives us enough time to plan your session and make sure I have availability. Many families book their newborn session at this time as well!

For most, the sweet spot for maternity photos is around 28-32 weeks. That way, you’ll likely have a bump to show off, but you’re still feeling comfortable!

Of COURSE! You’re more than welcome to bring your family for your session. Would rather celebrate your pregnancy with a solo session to honour your journey? Go for it! How you want to remember this time is completely up to you!

I photograph maternity sessions outdoors at my favourite beautiful meadow, or in my cozy, private studio. I’ve photographed some families outdoors on their rural properties or farms. Access to our studio wardrobe is included for your maternity session! I have a studio wardrobe with over 70 beautiful size-inclusive bump friendly pieces. Before your session day, you’ll come to the studio to try on your favourites and pick three different outfits. We also have wardrobe options for the entire family including adorable toddler outfits, kids clothes up to size 8 and men’s shirts, too.

Absolutely! Our hair and makeup artist Sarah will come to your home on the morning of your session to get you ready. Sarah is incredible and will ensure you don’t have to fret about getting yourself ready on session day. After a relaxing morning in her chair, you can come to the studio in your comfies and all your wardrobe pieces will be washed, steamed, and waiting for you.

I pride myself on a quick turnaround time, and will have your proofs ready 7-10 days after your session day! After your session ends, we’ll book a time for you to return to select your favourite photos (normally one week after your session). If you purchase digitals, you will leave the ordering appointment with your final images. Artwork & albums are typically ready for installation/delivery 6-12 weeks after your ordering appointment.

Absolutely! Digital collections are available for purchase. You have the option of digital downloads, a USB, or both. Digital collections are always high resolution (no watermarks or web-only restrictions here) and you can take them to your lab of choice to be printed in any size. The majority of families I work with actually get their digital collection for free after a qualifying purchase of artwork, album or gallery wall (we can chat about this if you have questions!).

Of course! If you’re looking to document your baby’s first year, The First Year Collective is the membership program for you. You’ll get 3 or 4 Signature Sessions during their baby’s first 18 months, which means you save big on session fees and receive a $250 album credit per session as well as birth announcements. My job isn’t complete until you are holding your memories in your hands. After your session we’ll meet at the studio where you’ll see your images for the first time. During our appointment we’ll select your favourite memories and collaborate on designing framed artwork, gallery walls or albums. My maternity clients love being able to build an album over multiple photo sessions to tell the story of your baby’s first year.
