Welcome Baby Brother

During this in-studio session we welcomed baby Huxley into the world. Huxley was only a few weeks old during this session and it was so sweet to see just how much he is loved. He had the adoration of his Mom + Dad, and his sweet big brother, too.

We started off our session with family images, then transitioned to some baby-led posing and some play time with big brother, too.

It’s important to me that my family’s feel at home in the studio. I won’t rush you through a feed, or work with a rigid list of shots. We take a baby-led approach which I find creates the most beautiful images and a carefree experience, too.

For this session we spent lots of time cuddling and enjoying baby Huxley. I also had some photographable toys on hand to ensure big brother was happy and busy during the baby-only portion of the session.

Mama preferred simple and pure images without the use of any fancy props. Your little one is perfect as is and we don’t need those things to capture him in a simple + beautiful way.

I love how at the end of the session everyone gathered around baby Huxley. I love that as he grows he’ll know just how much love he was surrounded with.
