Is Woodstock Newborn Photography Worth It? | Part One
If you’re researching newborn photography in Woodstock, you may wonder if this is all worth it. You probably want lots of images of your sweet baby, but you are curious if you really need to invest in a professional newborn photography session. As a busy mom of two, I totally get it! Normally, planning the newborn photo session falls on the mom, who already has a LOT on her plate. My process is different and takes care of all the planning and details for you and your family.
I’d love to share my favourite reasons why I think newborn photography is well worth the investment.

Why Newborn Photography
1. They’re Only Little Once - I’m sure you’ve heard parents say how fast time goes when you have children, and boy, they’re right. I feel like I blink, and my kids look older to me! The newborn phase goes so so fast. They’re only so tiny and new for such a short time. Taking newborn photos helps capture the moment before it goes by.
2. Document Precious Moments - After you bring your sweet baby home, there’s a lot going on. You’re learning to care for your baby, recovering from birth, and adjusting to your growing family. I hear from so many moms how much of a blur the newborn phase really is. It’s hard to stop and soak in the precious moments. Newborn photography allows you to pause and just enjoy your baby. You’ll always be able to look back on these beautiful portraits and relive those precious moments when your child was a tiny baby.
3. For You And Them - You’re investing in newborn portraits for yourself, but you’re doing this for your child as well. I know it’s hard even to imagine, but someday your baby will grow up into an adult. They will absolutely treasure these portraits and artwork from the session. You’re giving your child a priceless gift.

Yes, you can take phone photos or find a photographer who can take these photos for less. But at what cost to you? 5. Done-For-You Artwork - This is the best part! After your newborn photo session, we’ll collaborate to create your newborn portrait artwork. Once you view your images and select your favourites, we’ll mockup designs for your artwork. After this, I handle all of the final designing, ordering, delivery, and installation for you. It’s taking the big project of displaying your images off your plate so you can get back to enjoying your newborn!
