Allison, Dan + Baby Eli

This was a newborn session very near and dear to my heart. My friends Dan and Allison have been praying for a baby for some time. So when Allison told me she was expecting, I was over the moon with excitement. When Elijah was born I was so excited to meet him and I knew what wonderful parents Dan and Allison would be. Seeing them with their little man was the. best. ever.

We started our session off with some candid family images of Baby Eli, Dan + Ali together. After that we transitioned to some light and airy backlit images. Then some of Eli all by himself. We ended our session with some images of sweet little Eli by himself, and when he fell asleep we did some baby-led posing to show off all his little baby details.

To take the stress out of the session, Allison picked out her favourite items from the studio wardrobe for her, Dan & Eli to wear. The soft colours puts the focus right on their sweet family.

To remember Elijah’s newborn stage, we designed an album for Allison, Dan and Eli to reflect on.
