Family of Four Newborn Session
This Mama holds a very special place in my heart. I met her about 5 years ago at our local coffee shop. Of course, we started chatting about our matching birkenstock sandals and making small talk. She was such a friendly bright personality and I learned she was new to the area. Immediately I knew she was my kinda person! So bubbly, genuine and wholehearted.
Kate had two boys and we were both excited to learn that our oldest sons would be attending the same school that fall. Fast forward five years later she now has 3 boys, owns a coffee roaster + cafe with her husband, Elio and just gave birth to her baby girl, Fiona.
I was so delighted and honoured that she asked me to capture baby Fiona for a newborn session a few weeks ago.
Originally the plan was to do a Mama & Me Session, however I convinced Kate to let me do a couple with the rest of the family, too. I’m so glad we did, because it’s adorable to see how sweetly the boys interact with their little sister. All the clothing shown was provided from my client closet (complimentary with your newborn session).
Of course it goes without saying, we still got a lot of images of Kate & Fiona, too.
I love seeing how happy these two are holding their new baby girl.
I love being able to capture the entire family during a newborn session. We get a snapshot of your family at that moment…the memories and the feelings we have distilled and caught to enjoy for years to come!
Kate chose to remember this time with framed art. Together we created a wall gallery and a framed piece for her master bedroom. Here are the designs we created, and I’ll update this post after our install next week!
