Family + Engagement Celebration
The setting sun and a simple, but pretty background of trees and meadow grasses brought the natural beauty of this family to light. Mom, Jen and daughters Chloe and Lola made this a fun and laughter filled session, providing Mom with photos of their joy to cherish for a lifetime. This was a celebration of family and growth, as they also welcome Jen’s fiancé, Warren into the family. One photography session can celebrate and capture many different moments.
It was wonderful to see Jen again, having done previous photography sessions for her business as well as her family. As a busy real estate agent, Jen did not have time to look for a place to take photos or shop around for outfits for the family. I gladly selected clothing from my studio wardrobe with her family in mind and brought those pieces to her home to be tried on. Before the session, I steamed and hand delivered the clothing to Jen and her family. Everything was well organized and made preparation for the day of the session a breeze.
This would not have been a true family session without including their pup, Gucci. Pets are an important part of the family in the lives of so many. Including them in family photo sessions is always a fun addition. Gucci gladly soaked up the love from his family, put smiles on their faces and showed his appreciation with kisses.
Capturing the love between newly engaged Jen and Warren made for beautiful and memorable photographs. The warmth between them was reflected with sweet smiles and joyous laughs. They now have quality pieces to look back on when reminiscing on the excitement of their engagement, the “next step” in their journey of partnership, and the growth of family.
After the session reveal, I designed 2 albums for Jen and her mom. Both have beautifully designed albums filled with memories to cherish for years to come. What a wonderful gift idea for a family member! I am certain grandma appreciated the updated, love-filled album. Jen also wanted an updated piece to hang in her dining room. I designed a 4-piece wall collage that now hangs in her dining room to be viewed as a reminder of the love and happiness in their family.
