Baby Brother Ben

Woodstock Newborn Session

This week I’m so excited to share with you my session with the Chambers family. Guaranteed that when you see these images, you’ll fall in love with this lively family of five. Mom & Dad are witty and hilarious, both big sisters are so spunky and sweet, baby Ben just took it all in…it actually felt like I was hanging out with old friends the entire time. I first met Mom Nicole back in 2018 during an event at Streetfest. She and her oldest daughter, Eleanor came out for Mommy & Me photos. We met up a year later for maternity Mommy & Me, while she was expecting her middle daughter, Isabella. With her third baby on the way, she knew she wanted to capture her family and the newborn phase for her son, so she reached out to 5 months in advance to secure a spot on the calendar.

When Nicole came in for her Wardrobe consultation we tried on a few different items until we settled on this gorgeous sage maxi. We thought it would be sweet to dress her girls in these matching pink dresses.

Nicole wanted to capture the personalities of her daughters while capturing the fleeting newborn phase of Baby Ben. Have a peek at some of these moments, below:

It’s really special to capture images of your children with each parent, too. I love that Nicole and Geoff’s little ones can reflect back on this time and see joy, and even some of the silliness, too!

My heart melted seeing the girls snuggled up with Dad Geoff and Baby Ben. (PS, nothing was cuter than hearing little Isabella say, Baby Ben in her tiny toddler voice!)

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“Rachael offers more than just photos, she provides a personal, heartfelt experience. Rachael spends time getting to know you and your family. She chats with you, and is in touch multiple times before your session. In the past, I spent a lot of time and money purchasing family outfits for photography sessions. Rachael's beautifully curated studio wardrobe relieved me of that stress and worry. Her style of images is classic, clean and serene, and her wardrobe matches that feel. During our session, Rachael turned the chaos created by my little ones into moments of peace. You would honestly never know how truly wild my children are by the magical images she captured. Rachael made sure the pictures and frames we chose were perfect, and we appreciated getting to see them mocked up in life size projections in her studio before ordering. You won't regret working with Rachael. It is an investment that you will cherish for a lifetime. We can't wait to add more pieces to our gallery wall!”

Of course Mama got some snuggles in with her curly newborn boy. The girls dove into my toy box and played while we captured Ben while he snoozed. When Nicole and Geoff look back on these images, I hope they feel the true personalities of their girls: the giggles, their free little spirits and spunkiness!

Mama Nicole wanted to remember this time with a wall collage in the hallway adjacent to her open concept family room - kitchen. Nicole was attracted to an asymmetrical design, so we put together this cloud-like arrangement featuring a mix of family & sibling portraits. Each print is custom framed at my studio and features Italian-made-mouldings with UV coated photographic prints designed to last generations.

Clothing for some of these sessions was provided by our studio wardrobe. Imagine not having to stress about what to wear on photo day! Sessions at Rachael Little Photography include complimentary wardrobe and clothing consultation.
