Reach out around 22 weeks of your pregnancy to ensure availability and give me and my team enough time to plan your newborn session! Reserving your session in the second trimester is recommended and allows for us to plan wardrobe, hair and makeup and anticipate all of your needs for the session. I do take on a very limited number of sessions per month to ensure the highest quality experience for the families I serve. If you are later into your pregnancy, or your baby is here, please don’t hesitate to schedule a discovery call with me! Because the timing of a baby's arrival can be unpredictable, we can occasionally accommodate later bookings and I would love to see what we can do for you.

Schedule your newborn session anytime between 7 days old to 8 weeks old. The date we choose will depend on a lot of factors. Some families love to capture that brand-new curled up, squishy time, while others prefer to wait until they’ve had some time to heal from birth, get used to the new routine and feel a little more like they have a handle on things. Everyone is so different, and we’ll talk it over to see what’s right for you. Because our studio doesn’t do elaborate poses or put babies in baskets, your baby doesn’t need to be in a deep sleep. The majority of your pictures will be with your baby in your arms, or laying on a comfy surface like our beanbag or sofa. Our session is directed by what your baby needs!

A resounding, YES! All of our sessions are family sessions so including all of your immediate family is HIGHLY encouraged. I am truly a toddler whisperer and will ensure the session is fun for older siblings as well (let’s just say I have lots of tools in my toolbox…stickers, bubbles, the most adorable wooden toys and most importantly, endless patience) We will ensure at the end of the session you’ll walk away with the most magical images of your family, including one of your new baby and their older sibling(s), too!

Yes, I do! The First Year Membership is a membership program for families looking to document their baby’s first year. Families save when they book 3 or 4 Signature Sessions during their baby’s first 18 months. Members save big on session fees and receive a $250 album credit per session as well as birth announcements. You can learn more about the First Year Membership here.

Newborn sessions are photographed in my private studio in North Woodstock. My studio is tailored to suit the needs of newborn families and is fully stocked with the comforts of home and newborn essentials like diapers, wipes, bottle warmer, and a nursing pillow. The studio is very clean, bright, flooded with natural light, soft music and has everything we could need for a newborn session. After the session you can leave the laundry and mess behind and head home for a nap.

Access to our studio wardrobe is included for your newborn session! I have an extensive studio wardrobe with over 70 beautiful & comfortable pieces. Many of our pieces are nursing friendly and are a-line so you won’t experience unwanted pressure around your tummy or c-section incision. About 5 weeks before your session day, you’ll come to the studio to try on your favourite pieces. We also have wardrobe options for the entire family including adorable toddler outfits, kids clothes up to 8 and mens shirts, too.

Absolutely! On the morning of your session our professional hair & makeup artist, Sarah will come to your home to get you ready. Sarah is incredible at what she does and will ensure you don’t have to fret about getting yourself ready on session day. After a relaxing morning in her chair, you can come to the studio in your comfies and all your wardrobe pieces will be washed, steamed and waiting for you.

I pride myself on a quick turnaround time, and will have your proofs ready 7-10 days after your session day. Immediately after your session we’ll book a time for you to return for your ordering appointment and select your favourites. One week after your session is typically when this is scheduled. If you purchase digitals, you will leave the ordering appointment with your final images. Artwork & albums are typically ready for installation/delivery 6-12 weeks after your ordering appointment.

Absolutely! Digital collections are available for purchase. You have the option of an old-fashioned USB, digital download, or both. Digital collections are always high resolution (no watermarks or web-only restrictions, here) and you can take them to your lab of choice to be printed in any size. The majority of families I work with actually earn their digital collection for free after a qualifying purchase of artwork, album or gallery wall.

My job isn’t complete until you are holding your memories in your hands. After your session we’ll meet at the studio where you’ll see your images for the first time. During our appointment we’ll select your favourite memories and collaborate on designing framed artwork, gallery walls or albums. My newborn clients love being able to build an album over multiple photo sessions to tell the story of your baby’s first year.

I have LOTS of experience photographing multiples, and I’d never dream of charging extra for a twins, triplets or beyond session! We will ensure your session is captured in the most relaxed way possible (even if your hands are quite literally full). I will ensure your babies have solo images as well as those adorable sibling images, too!
