The Lightbody family came to my studio to celebrate the birth of their baby boy, Trevor. We were sure to capture the love between the family and especially big brother Dean.

As a Mama of two, there were a lot of things I wanted to remember from my children’s first year. Those sweet baby coos, his tiny fingers grabbing mine, those first smiles and sweet giggles. When my baby took his first steps, it seemed like he had achieved so many amazing firsts that we couldn’t quite believe how quickly the time went.

I met Lindsay a few years ago at Woodstock Summer Streetfest and photographed her with her oldest. I was so happy when she reached out to schedule fall family photographs. She wanted to be photographed at a local trail near Pittock Dam. It’s a beautiful spot with lots of room for the kids to play. And the meadowy grasses are so fun to play peek-a-boo in!

We played until the sun went down, and after we created some gorgeous wall art for her home so that these images can make her smile, everyday.
